This is such sad news to hear. I really enjoyed working for Andrew during my placement in temporary works; I managed to squeeze an extra half year out of it. Andrew was a big part of that enjoyment and why I wanted to stay on as long as I could. He was very good at mentoring engineers, extremely knowledgeable but also had patience, you would know if you had gone wrong but would always leave that conversation knowing how and why, learning much in the process. Andrew would go the extra mile for people, there were countless times where various projects needed help at short notice and he would be there to help them. I'll miss hearing about his most recent travels and my thoughts are with his family at this time.
